Street Improvements on Wright Patman Dr.
The City of Wells has received a grant through the TxCDBG program for street improvements on Wright Patman Dr.
Construction Schedule: Construction is scheduled to begin on July 13, 2026, and end on December 10, 2026.
Road Access: During construction, residents on Wright Patman Dr. should expect one half of the road to be closed at a time. This will allow the contractor to complete the road improvements without closing the entire road. We also ask that, if you do not live on Wright Patman Dr., you limit driving on the road, so you do not interfere with the construction crew's ability to complete the work within the 5-month time frame set by the TxCDBG grant
Driveway Access and Parking: Residents’ driveways will not be blocked. At certain points during construction, residents living in apartments may need to park in front of the new offices on an as-needed basis.
Dust Notice: Residents should expect dust during construction. Please keep doors and windows closed and rinse vehicles as needed.
