City Ordinances - Important Information

An ordinance is a law passed by the city council to protect all citizens. If you have any questions regarding a particular ordinance, please call City Hall, and we will be happy to help you.
Flushing Wipes Reminder to Customers

It is essential NOT to flush any wipes down the commode into our sewer system. This includes wipes that say they are flushable, baby wipes, and disinfecting wipes. Our system can not process them, and it will cause damage to the sewer system. If we lose our sewer system, the City of Wells utility system will shut down, causing severe problems and sewer backups into customers' homes.
