On August 20, 2025 the City of Wells issued a boil water notification due to a water main break that could not be repaired without turning off the main water supply that lowered the system's PSI to 0 PSI, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required our water system for the CITY OF WELLS ID# 0370004 to notify customers of the need to boil their water before consumption.
This boil water notice applies to all customers listed below. No one else is affected by the water outage.

32, 38 & 73 E First St
Our system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and bacteriological quality and has provided TCEQ with testing results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling as of August 20, 2025.
